Tama BASIC is extremely unique in the way it is set up.
While most youth ministry programs are sponsored by a
specific church or paired with a national organization,
BASIC is not. BASIC is instead sponsored by a community.
Funds are gathered through local grants and individual
donors who have a heart for God's work in Traer. The BASIC
board is composed of local residents who volunteer their
time and energy to make sure this program is sustainable
and will continue to impact teenagers' lives. BASIC's
leaders live in Traer, open their homes to area youth, and
become active members of the community. God has used this
program to touch lives in Traer for the past 9 years, and
continues to do so on a daily basis.
In order for this community-sponsored ministry to continue
to thrive and grow, we need your help! We are always
looking for individuals who are interested in teaming with
us by providing volunteer or financial support. Get
involved, and become a part of God's incredible work that
is taking place through BASIC! Here are a few ways you can

Volunteer
Want to
really
get involved with BASIC?
Become a volunteer leader! We are always looking for
individuals who love Jesus and enjoy working with students.
As a volunteer leader, you could become involved with our
Rock or Cross Trainers ministries (or both!), start a small
group, help serve ice cream once a year, be our designated
picture-taker, or more! The possibilities are endless; we
are simply interested in having as many people be a part of
BASIC as possible. Let Mark know here you are interested, and we will work
out the details.
Contribute
Financially
For those who are
looking to help in a different way, BASIC also needs
financial support. None of the weekly programs, special
events, summer camps, or paid leader staff would be
possible without the generous financial contributions of
our donors. Donations are tax-deductable, and BASIC's
budget and other financial information is available upon

Through
Prayer
Please remember to keep
BASIC in your prayers! Pray for teenagers who have not yet
heard the message of Jesus Christ, pray for students who
have, pray for our leaders. Pray that Traer would become a
spiritually vibrant community, where students and adults
alike are dedicated to following their Creator. If you
